Her career began in London as a Complex Care Nanny, before moving into a lead role in a Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit. Here, she worked closely with a wide range of Allied Health professionals to support individuals through tailored rehabilitation programmes. It was during this time that she developed a keen interest in the complexity and power of the human brain.
She later transitioned into education, spending several years in a Specialist SEND role. In this position, she identified specific learning needs, led speech, language, communication, and literacy focused interventions. Alongside this, she provided specialised training and guidance for both teaching staff and parents.
These experiences have strengthened her commitment to helping every individual receive the right support to overcome their challenges. Her passion is to make learning accessible, positive, and empowering for all. Her focus is on making education effective, and a positive nurturing experience.
Based in Northamptonshire and the North West, Gilly supports families and schools across the UK.

WHAT IS DYSLEXIA?
Dyslexia is a lifelong difference in the way the brain processes information. It is most commonly linked to challenges with reading, writing, and spelling, but it can also affect other areas such as memory, organisation, sequencing, and processing speed.
Diagnosing dyslexia is a detailed process that must be carried out by a qualified specialist.
It’s important to understand that dyslexia is not a reflection of intelligence or ability. Many people with dyslexia are exceptionally creative thinkers, strong problem solvers, and innovators who bring fresh perspectives and new ideas to their work and learning.
With early recognition, the right support, and strategies that focus on individual strengths, people with dyslexia can achieve great success and thrive in education, the workplace, and daily life.
IS A DIAGNOSIS NECCESARY?
A diagnosis isn’t a label, it’s empowerment. It helps us understand how someone learns and processes information, so we can tailor the right support, tools, and strategies to build confidence and unlock potential.
By identifying individual learning styles, we can provide the right environment for people with dyslexia to thrive, achieve their goals, and reach their full potential.
